The Garden Shark is a toothed sickle which relys on a pulling action.  It is easy to use and light weight.  Simply hold the plant material and pull the tool towards you.  It slides through flax like a hot knife through butter!  We use these all the time for chopping and dropping our cannas, comfrey, bana grass etc.
