GINGER - CHINESE (Zingiber officinale Var. Sinensis)

We have several varieties of ginger available. All will grow outdoors in a frost-free spot, and although they will all spread, they are not rampantly invasive. Chinese Ginger is very similar to the ginger you buy in the shops. It has pungent yellow roots and is fairly easily grown outdoors, in a semi shaded position. Non invasive. A great plant for the vege garden. Mildly frost tolerant.

Seasonal dispatch notice: Galangal ginger plants purchased between May and September will be dispatched in spring once active growth resumes. During winter, arrowroot naturally dies back and rests until warmer conditions return.
