Plants are grown organically without the use of chemical fertilisers or sprays. We have several varieties of ginger available. All will grow outdoors in a frost-free spot, and although they will all spread, they are not rampantly invasive. CHINESE - Very similar to the ginger you buy in the shops. It has pungent yellow roots and is fairly easily grown outdoors, in a semi shaded position. Non invasive. A great plant for the vege garden. Mildly frost tolerant.
