American Paw Paw ready(ish)

After a long winter showing very little sign of life, leaves have appeared and we now have spindly American Paw Paws for sale. We are of two minds about whether they are ready to go out but they have massive root systems and it becomes a bit of a tossup between leaving them for a few more months (they are very slow growing) or sending them with the understanding that they will need plenty of TLC in the garden. Highly recommend a wire screen to protect them from accidental injury and some mulch to ensure they are not lost in the weeds.

The other benefit of getting them planted now is that they have the benevolent late spring to bed in.

We will have some more ready in a month or so but these are the largest we have now. Visit the catalogue to order.
