Atemoya - "African Pride" this is a cross between the cherimoya and the sugar apple.   The fruit is sweeter than cherimoya with a more complex flavour, and the texture is a little denser. The tree is bushier, but not particularly tall [so far anyway!] They grow easily here in the north, but are probably a little less cold tolerant than the cherimoya.  A superior tasting fruit and very sort after tree. Grafted to Cherimoya root stock.
