Freight

Freight is charged per box. The number of plants per box varies according to their size, so it is not possible to give totally accurate estimates, but this will serve as a guide. You can get up to 10 plants in PB3s into one box, about 8 in PB5s, and between 4 and 6 in PB8s, PB10s or PB12s. Once you start mixing up the PB sizes, it becomes harder to say how many you will get in. One plant can cost as much to send as 10. Charges may change without notice, but will remain competitive. The freight charges are;

  • North of Auckland $7.00
  • Auckland $9.00
  • Waiheke Island $23.00
  • The rest of the North Island $12.00
  • South Island $20.00

There is a rural delivery surcharge of $5.00. The R.D. charge can be avoided by having the plants delivered to an address in the nearest town, if you prefer.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1.  Payment in full is due on receipt of plants and must be made within seven days.

2.  Late payments will be charged interest at 2.5% per month and may incur a collection    fee.                

3.  Prices do not include freight – this will be billed on your invoice. Please check prices at the front of the catalogue.

4.   Plants are sent out between November and March, excluding the period between Dec 15th and the middle of January. Plants may be sent without notice. If you will be away during delivery time, it is your responsibility to notify us.

5.   Claims for damaged plants must be made within 7 days of receipt.  

May we substitute if a particular variety is out of stock? YES/NO
